Licensing and Eligibility Requirements
To practice in New Brunswick, physicians must be licensed through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB). Horizon’s recruitment team will guide you through the process and connect you with the right resources.
To practice medicine in New Brunswick, here’s what you’ll need:
- To be a Canadian citizen or eligible for a work permit
- A license to practice medicine from the CPSNB
- Hospital privileges granted by the Regional Health Authority board
- A Medicare billing number (which will be issued once you’ve accepted your employment offer)
