Frequently Asked Questions

Guaranteed employment is offered to all BScN/BN and Practical Nursing students and grads from any recognized college or university across Canada.

After submitting your application, an interview with one of our Nurse Managers will be arranged to better understand your skills and experience. If you already have a relationship with Horizon through student employment or education placement, there is no interview required.

Once these discussions are completed and a placement has been determined, you will receive an offer letter.

Following your first year with Horizon, we support your career pathway in a number of specialty areas. We have full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities in acute and community settings such as regional and community hospitals, community health centres, clinics, Public Health, and addiction and mental health services.
